CrossFit110 CARES: Row-A-Thon Challenge
Our first annual ROW-A-THON challenge took place on October 3rd. CrossFit110 Members wore RED to show support for the far reaching Opioid Epidemic in America. Through the generous donations of our members and friends we are proud to announce we were able to exceed our goals of raising over $5000 for the Boston Medical Center’s Catalyst Clinic.
The Boston Medical Center launched the CATALYST Clinic, a program designed to treat young people aged 25 and under who are struggling with substance use, or who have experimented with drugs and alcohol and may be at risk for developing an addiction.
Teams of two were asked to row 6000meters in 30 minutes. Alternating while holding a 135/95 Deadlift off the ground the whole time….. to represent the struggle and the weight of battling addiction each day.
CrossFit110 couldn’t be prouder of the family and the culture our community fosters together.
